Yin Yoga: moving through the Chakras

Ever wonder what goes on underneath the shape of a pose? Deepen your knowledge of Subtle Body energy during a 2-hour Chakra workshop. We explore the 7 main energy centers correlated along the length of the spine through the lens of Yin Yoga postures. The long-held floor poses give ample time to observe individual Chakra centers and bring awareness to the different aspects of oneself starting with the most physical and moving toward the subtlest energy of our being.   The practice and discussion help stimulate our perception of limiting patterns, stimulate and harmonize energy flows and release tension in the physical body.

With a working knowledge of the chakras we conclude with a seated chakra meditation followed by a relaxed guided Savasana.
